Reviews
It had lots of character - decorated with interesting art and sculptures. The staff was superb. In particular, the gentleman who checked us in the cafe, and the manager made our stay very enjoyable.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary in Prague and stayed in this gorgeous hotel.
The room was very neat and spacious. Floor heating gave extra comfort when we stepped into the bathroom and entrance area of our room. Staff were very friendly and provided great service too.
Nice breakfast in the restaurant with a good view of the outdoors.
We could visit many places in the center because the tram is also just a few minutes walking distance.
An awesome wedding anniversary experiences!
Nothing comes to mind.
THIS IS NO 5-STAR HOTEL 😂😂😂
So for the deception I give 2 stars.
However, still a nice place to stay. Price worth it?..You decide.
Inside, you get the feeling that it must have once been an amazing hotel and still has amazing and unique interior design.
Breakfast is ok, but that’s about it. Rooms have stains on the floor, cracks in the walls and a bit of a smell to it but clean and very (!) comfortable beds!
Service and staff was poor, sometimes even grumpy but there were some very nice staff too!
Pool was broken and upon inquiry, staff seemed to not really want you to use the fitness.
It¿s maintained. Location is decent, cozy feel. quiet atmosphere and good breakfast.
No main door access through your card if you return late to the hotel and the staff r not on the front desk. Then you have to wait and knock on the door to open after several attempts.
This is not a 5 star hotel by any measure. It’s a shame because the building is beautiful but the service is non existent. The spa doesn’t work on Sundays and the restaurant doesn’t work on weekends. We couldn’t even have a drink at the bar at 22:30pm because the staff said it was closed. Instead of offering to serve us a drink, just told us “it’s closed”. Not what you’d expect from a 5 star hotel, more like 2 stars. Will not return unless there is a change of management and someone takes over who knows how to run a hotel and what customer service is.
Ok hotel, but not 5 stars (any more). After room service we found a pair of socks under the window. The managers apologized but offered no refund/ change of room or at least some explanation, other than the socks might have come from under the bed after vacuum cleaning 😳 breakfast was ok, but a bit boring. Strong sweet parfume/ scent in the hallways, otherwise cosy hotel.
